I'm interested in purchasing a Fausti they have at a local Store. I'm looking for people's experiences w/ them. How's Fausti's rep for quality and workmanship?
Thanks,

I don't know about the guns but they have some great looking owners.

Have Elite Field sxs in 12 ga. One of those with double trigger. Function is fine but have never shot it for POI. Oversize pistol grip makes me think of a Boyd's stock on a Garand. The acid etch on the action bar is presentable I suppose. Also reminds me of a lot of production revolvers. Needed dehorning (breaking a few edges with a stone) as you could slice yourself on edges of barrel lug. I don't know if it was a "lot of gun" for the money but apparently it was enuf gun at the time to make me buy it. That doesn't sound like an unqualified endoresement because it's not.

I disagree. Not necessarily on the guns but on the women. One looks good, one looks angry, and the other looks like one of the Adams family.

Well I'm old and all three look good to me. The Faustis I've owned a O/U and a SxS were well built shotguns. The SxS was sold because it had a single trigger, the O/U was handed down to my son, neat gun built on a 20 ga. frame , but had a set of 28 ga. and 410 barrels.

Setting aside the beauty of the sisters....I didn't think any of the Faust branded shotguns have been in use in the USA for more than three years, or so. Erego, there probably isn't much real evidence of:
1. How well they hold up to actual shooting usage 2. The extent and quality of their warranty and repair 3. The availab ility of repair parts, when needed.
I'm not knocking the product, just commenting on the "newness"...
