Robin Hollow has a new "Boss" model Arrieta shotgun on it's website. Anyone know anything about these?

Arrieta makes nice guns. I've owned a different model for several years.

John Boyd of Quality Arms who imports Arrieta guns and posts on this forum could likely give you the details about the particular gun you're interested in.

No problem to Nial - he'll have his screwdrivers and lathe on it in no time!

Hi Kerryman, well $18.5K is a problem when I already have more damn shotguns than I know what to do with. However, I do think the Boss rounded action sidelock with Boss style engraving has to be one of the prettiest guns ever made. I used to have an Arrieta 2" Light Game Gun and found it a terrific little weapon. Sold it in a moment of insanity. If I ever decide to get another I'll go directly to Arrieta. A trip to Spain always sounds good and if I time it right I can even watch the crazies at Pamplona.

Please give me the link to this particular gun at Julia's, I'd like to look at.
Long time ago I had MC-11 with pair set of barrels for trap and for skeet. Very good solid gun, but a bit heavy, though there were MC's-11 made for hunting, it was lighter guns, but definetly more solid, than any other modern Spanish, that I saw myself.

Geno,

Here is the link: http://www.jamesdjulia.net/contact_us.asp

Go to the firearms section of the site.

Scroll down to the October 2009 Firearms Auction.

Click on selected highlights of the 10-09 Firearms Auction

The gun is listed in the Fine Sporting Rifles & Shotgun section.

I believe this gun was originally a trap gun as it had a high comb that was shaved off. Also, it is a heavy gun.
