I am restoring a Ithica SBT for a co-worker. Does anyone know if the barrel lump is a part of the barrel or is it soldered on. This particular gun is a 5E and it has been through the mill.

I relaize it is not a double but it is a break action.

I believe it is silver soldered on.

And there is also Gunter Pfrommer who has put more then one Ithaca back on face for me. Is it a Knick or Flues? (and you may also want to exchange the i for an a, unless of course you are from Bend, OR.)
