I finally took my Poli 32 gauge, 28" bbls IC/Mod out to hunt quail. I used the Fiocchi factory 8s. I have not cared much for the factory loads for sporting clay as they are quite light (slow).
However, those loads are great for pen raised birds.
I was able to double on one covey and didn't miss many singles.

So, I ask, when is the last time you saw a new 32 gauge SxS in the field?

To the poster who asked about Poli quality. The quailty is very good. The Poli family will build what you want. My 32 is 70mm proved and has extra 28 ga and .410 barrels. I guess you could call a 70mm 32 gauge a 32 magnum. I still have to get Rocky Mtn to make some custom hulls so I can experiment.

I have owned AYAs and this one Poli. I don't have anymore AYAs, but that was not a reflection of the guns so much has my changing tastes. (I had to move something to cover the Poli.)
