In the last email I recieved from Wilhelm Gregor (Amigo Will), he indicated he was heading back to Alaska 2 Jan 09. Since I heard nothing else from him, I assume he's gone. Good Bye Old Friend. I pray you'll find the peace you so desperatly need. If my situation changes, you may see an old soldier humping a ruck up the trail to your cabin. I'll bring the coffee.

I too wish ol' Wil a grand time in Alaska.
I get the impression he's happier where a man can get away from it , kinda live on his wits.
Wil was/is a real nice guy,,,never met him,but a good few E mails back aways.
So be careful up there Wil...keep us posted when & if you get the chance man
I often think of you...hows your wife doin man???

Me thinks he is roughing it outhouse and all. Fridge will be small dugout covered with moss. Watch the movie Death Hunt and you will know what I mean.

I understand Will is moving to Wrangell Alaska. I'm certain they have internet there and I imagine Wilhelm will be posting again after he gets settled in (only maybe it'll be Alaska Will next time we hear from him).

Wrqangle is the jumping off place but he's looking at one of the big islands in the passage. He anticipates bush living possibly without electricity or a computer. Will's an old Alaska hand, been there and done the bush living thing in the past which leads me to believe he'll be okay living rough. I just pray he'll find what he needs. To those of us that know him, Will's a fine man and I wish only the best for him.

For better or worse, Wilhelm Gregor is the reason I stayed with this board. The generosity and knowledge here is important to me. Wilhelm's character appeals to me; there's a poignant brevity to his messages, choked with integrity, usually smoking the posts.
