OP Willie Becker Boxlock Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 1	Anyone here know of a nontoxic load for doves capable of being shot out of a 16ga model 21 or 12ga parker with titan steel barrels, both IC? I've not found bismuth in 7.5 or 8 shot and with more and more talk of steel only in state wildlife management areas I'm about ready to buy a modern shotgun.

Amigo Will Sidelock Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 725	If you hunt alot you can pay for the new gun by just buying steel shot over the cost of the fancy stuff for older guns.Don't know if they make the tungsten matrix in 16 but the sixteen shooters should be here soon.

RWG Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 1,484 NE Ohio	Check out the nice shot loads from RST. Pricey, but the stuff performs well. Other choice is Classic Doubles from Hevi shot. Mack's PW has a good price when combined with the factory rebate.

I'm heading to South Dakota this fall and bought a bunch of non-toxic shot to use up there for upland game. TM is suitable for all older shotguns with steel barrels, look carefully though as some of their loads are smokin hot!!!
