An engraver was doing some touch up work on a Lefever cross bolt gun for me, and ask if I could find any information on a .410 O/U box lock a widow has given him to sell. Gun is new in box, looks sort of Beretta, etched "engraving", plastic looking wood finish. 3" chambers, unfired.

Only marking is on the side of the barrel "Churchill - Champin, S.C., USA" which I assume is the importer. It looks like circa 1980 for some reason.

Any one recognize this?

Terry: I'm guessing that the importer is Ellett Brothers, Chapin, South Cariolina, U.S.A. They are a wholesale hunting & fishing jobber to the smaller retail outlets. Their Phone number is (803) 345-3751. I hope that this helps.
