Saw an interesting what I believe is a grade 3 12 ga. Ithica Minier today. It had the engraving of a grade 3 and the checkering of a grade 5.It is an early gun s/n 130084 (1906) with frame reinforcements. Too bad it is a low condition gun I estimate <10%
the 30'' KRUPP Fluid steel barrels lock-up tightly but are pitted at the muzzle externally. They ring but the bores are also pitted. very small crack near the fore-end iron and a small crack in the stock at the top of the frame. The Pretty wood, stained from carrying. The fancy checkering is worn almost smooth. There is only a hint of gold at the top of the triggers. It was a gift from the owners father. Any suggestions on a fair price?
