A transitional lock Sauer being Nr. 91464 retailed byJosef Wenish dříve H. Roedl Praha that more than likely was completed circa 1900 as it passed thru the Praha proof facility in early 1901, with a couple passes that year. Just might be a good benchmark for Sauers offerings fore & aft of 1900?

This has 2 3/4 chambers is that an added proof mark?
Yes, among the couple passes the longarm made thru the Praha proof facility in 1901, one was for lengthening the chambers to 70mm. Odd though that it looks like it make 3 or 4 passes?
