I bought a Schuetzen rifle with a shooting kit. Within that kit is a most unusual powder measure with a drum that rotates in a different axis than any other I have seen. It is unmarked and missing a handle to rotate the drum and the powder resevoir. It was suggested on the assra web site that the measure could be German. I'm hoping someone here can identify it and send me a picture of what needs to get it back in use.
For some reason I can't see where to attach a picture on this post

This is a link to the American single shot rifle association web site and the thread for the shooting kit and powder measure.

The photos didn't show up in the link either.

I'm sorry, I forgot that on the assra.com web site you can't see pictures unless you are logged in. I don't know why anyone would set it up that way but not my doing.

I would be happy to send you pictures if you will pm me a email.

Any idea why I don't have a place to upload a picture?

Scott,
I am one of the few (maybe only) computer illiterate members here and can't help you.

When you do a post here above the message box is a row of little boxes, one near the middle has what look to be two balls and a triangle in it. Click on it and that is where you insert your picture, just insert the URL for your picture and it will put it in the message. You do have to switch to "full reply screen " to see the row of boxes.

You might want to contact the Antique Reloading Tool Collectors Association.
You could start with Tom Quigley at tlqmlq@q.com

Thank you Steve!
I got hold of Tom Quigley as you suggested and he sent it it to his group including Tom Rowe. Mr Rowe was kind enough to call me and tell me the measure is German and a complete one can be seen in his book " Alte Scheibenwaffen vol. 3" page 286 and is know as system Mikromass.
