'Miller & Val. Greiss, Kgl, Bayr, Hofgewehrfabrik, Munchen' inscribed on the top rib. I think I copied all that down correctly, minus an Umlaut or two.

It's a Miller & Val. Greiss 16ga SxS. The 'y' in 'Bayr' looked like an 'I' to me at first, but I can see a small split in the letter at the top, so it is a 'y'. Lettering is very small, the gun was advertised as a 'Krupp' double by someone who apparently didn't take the time to look closely at the top rib.

It means: "Königlich Bayrische Hofgewehrfabrik", what means Gun Manufacturer to the Bavarian Court. Raimey wrote a nice article about Miller & Val(entin) Greiss which I posted on my blog:
