I have just aquired a German 16 Gauge side by side. The steel barrels are marked PR Stahl LÄufe. It has Greener cross bolt and double lugs. By my greener book it has been proofed twice.
Crown over S, W and U along with VLtro (nitro). Is this a guild gun or something else?
Fits me well and will be a nice project to add to my others.

Fella post some images of the steel type marks as well as the area from the flats toward the forend hanger and Axel, The American(Ford) or others will have some insight. Sounds like Fr. Krupp Stahl on a post 1912 sporting weapon. Or email them to me & I'll post them for you.
