Better looking than any of the attempts I've seen to build a sporting rifle on our M1 Garand. Whoever did the stock must of wore out his checkering tool on the forend. That is the shortest pattern I've ever seen.

From the proof mark showing bore dia. the rifle is pre 1911/12. I think there is a chance it is chambered for 35 Rem. FN chambered their version of the Remington Mod1908 in 35 Rem. calling it 9mm.
