I made notes about some guns I thought I could afford in the Jim Wilkinson auction. Silly me, I could have afforded most of it. I wonder when we will see another auction like this? What would the prices have been if the auction had taken place during the pandemic?
umm, maybe you could supply links to the auction and any particular guns that you thought were noteworthy.
Thanks Lynn
That was one hell of a pistol grip on that Niedner Kurz, eh?
Niedner Kurz Fred
Thanks also for the links LRF. I can't help but think what a shame about that little Gibbs.
G&H 375 Kurz sq bridge Sharps Rem RB Long range Sharps Long Range Pope H&H Another G&H There were also a few Mauser actions. Most went high IMO. Here is one I bid on but $840 with premium is too much again IMO
Mauser action
These links may not make my point, but browsing the entire auction will. Congratulations to those who took advantage.
The 77 Sharps was superb. But why the Borchardt went for that money, I don't understand.
ALL the above links came up " This site not secure" on my computer.

$64 question. I don't see it either but I wasn't buying or bidding. In my mind a bare Mauser action going for $840 is a bit hard to understand. To each their own.

I was the high bidder on this rifle:
98 Mauser Sporter I normally don’t care for maple stocks, but I really like this one.
