Currently in Iraq. I started a project right before I ofund out I was being deployed last year. I bought a like new 16 bore harpoon gun in the UK. Built on an 8 Bore frame. 98% original case color, wood like new, all original. Made in 1896 if memory serves me. Anyway I am having it turned into an 8 bore single shot rifle. Jones underlever action. Going for the 3 1/4" case. Thought about 4 bore but with plastic available for plinking (would only use brass when hunting) it was a no brainer. Havent even thought baout loads yet. Hopefully it will be htere this summer. Will give complete rundown on the quality of the work and photos. Looking forward to my new toy. I iwll be picking the brains of the Gurus who shoot these big bores.
