Hi there folks
Hi have had in my safe for years a cape gun in 16Ga / 303 British. I bought it at a show a while back on a whim and its sat there for a while and i started looking at it the other day. Given the caliber I always assumed it was English made but the proof marks appear to be Belgian, according to the interweb. One thing I was unable to find was a definitive date that it was made before. With English proofs I can say (for instance) that a certain mark was not used after a particular year thus it must be made before then. Does anyone have a similar list of Belgian proofs with their final usage year please?
