Contemplating loading some black powder rounds for my .450 BPE. Lots of info on the BPCR sites about cleaning. How are you guys shooting black in BPE rifles cleaning them? Thanks.

A lot easier than smokeless. With a mix of Ballistol and water, my barrels clean with three patches. If you build your shells right, there's only one lot of fouling in there anyway.

Yes, easier than smokeless. At the range, a few patches with Butch's Black Powder Bore Shine and then at home, out of habit more than any thing else, A couple patches of Hoppes and a Hoppes wipe down of the barrels.
