I came across these markings on the bbls of a Reilly BP hammer rifle:



Any idea what the A & T is for?

This mark is on both sets of tubes and each marking is following by a use # for the patent.

OWD, it's possible to date the gun (or more accurately the tube set), by looking up the BPUN. Jon Kirton's book provides the numbers for Henry's own guns and their date.
