I always wondered about this ctg. since seeing a Purdey double in that caliber in a London shop in 1968.

(Of course for most of us it's "academic," but what rifle loony can pass up impractical gun trivia? This one can't....)

I suspect that from the point of view of most of us, that's the only practical thing about it....

Don't cull any of them, if you do, you will miss a good one some day.
