Hello - I'm new to double rifles and am considering a Chapuis UGEX 9.3x74.

I have two Heym SR-30s and several good SxS shotguns but no double rifle.

Can you share opinions about the Chapuis? It seems to be the least expensive yet isn't so cheap that I would suspect it if it were a shotgun.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Mine shoots straight and goes boom.. I like it!
The triggers are a bit hard and it's a bit too light weight. But the 9.3X74R doesn't kick that much. Great wood and fit.

Is the difference between the models simply cosmetic or are the receivers and barrels different?

The RGEX is cosmeticly upgraded from the
UGEX. The engraving and timber is much better.
