Hi All,
Is there any site or store out there that specializes in vintages scopes like Aldis, Henscholdt, Zeiss, etc.
Thanks,
Charls
Ebay. But don't expect them to be cheap. I've been looking for a while now.
I have a old scope that is numbered to a Rigby double rifle built in 1889. The only markings on the scope is "V & S" Does anybody reconize this?
Thanks,
Charl
certainly sir. voigtlander & sohn, a.g. braunschweig.
There's a dealer I used to see when I went to the Tulsa and Louisville shows up until two or three years ago who had dozens of German scopes for sale in a glass cabinet, all at elevated prices. Seldom seemed to sell one. Don't know if he's still active.
Gary Fellers in Texas is one of the leading dealers in older scopes. A very reputable dealer too in my experience.
Charls, do you see much pre-WWI glass out there in Z.A.?
I have a Zeiss Zielmultar which I will sell if you are looking. This is a very rare One, being the very first model variable scope ever made, 1.5 - 6. I have only seen another in pictures.

If it's any help there's one on eBay now: 110500610329
Hi,
I have about 100 pieces in stock at the moment as I am going to be setting up a source specialising in older scopes with claw mounts and bases.
I have them listed on an excel list with pictures.
Regards
Martin
