I am looking for someone skilled in making or repairing screws for my Sauer hammer gun project. Mico welding the buggered slots or making new screws to replace the worst ones. Light engraving to replicate the original pattern. Thanks.

Here's a Micro-welding outfit that Bill Schodlatz has used and recommended for shotgun micro-tig and laser welding repairs. Located in Meadville, Pa, so not terribly far from you:

This gentleman did some micro welding for me on a magazine follower, and did excellent work:

I looked at their website and noted that they cater to gun work, and are avid shooters themselves. I also note that they specifically mention welding the hook on a gun that needs it. I will be taking some pics today of a set of Fox barrels that needs exactly that, due to a botched job of barrel fitting, and will be contacting them by email.

Thanks for the tip, and the link.

Louis Rotelli is making new screws and a spare set of firing pins. All set, thanks for the input.
