To contact me directly: sdh@montana.net
Thanks again for the great responce, it's wonderful to find out how many folks are truly interested!
My best to you all,
Steve
Recieved my book early this week --- (ordered it from Shooting Sportsman Magazine). Wondered if it could be better than the previous one, and it is. A "Must have" for those of us who do some of our own work, and a "should have" for those who don't.
Well worth the price -- especially the first chapter about what to look for in a project gun. Been there, done that. He knows where of he speaks. That alone could save one the cost of the book many times over.
Would sure like to buy Mr. Hughes a drink or two sometime.
Hoping this finds everyone well;
Thanks much Mr.Kraft...as for that drink, that would be about anytime we meet up, I'll get the second round. Thanks again, Steve
SDH, I also sent a PM requesting a signed copy of your new book.
I'm not certain if it was sent.
Please contact me with ordering instructions at gpittelko@comporium.net
Thanks - George Pittelko
Great to hear you're doing more in this subject area. I found the earlier book a nice piece. I'll need this one as well. I'll send an email to do so.
Hi Steven,
Bought a copy of your last book - fantastic - definitely one to keep and re-read. You kindly said that you would sign a copy of your new book for me. If you could let me know how much the total incl. shipping to the UK is - I can pay either by card or PayPal - e-mail sent.
many thanks

Hey, my hat's off to you guys. The greatest pleasure a writer can have is positive responce from readers. The second, at least to me, is inscribing and personalizing the transaction from writer to reader. I have three bookshelfs of author inscribed first editions that I appreciate at least as much as my double guns.
My thanks also to Dave (checks in the mail).
Please stop and say hello at PP!
Steve
Steve,
I plan on stopping by to see you at the Vintage Cup, and it sounds like others plan to do the same. Will you be at the Shooting Sportsman booth or out on your own?
SDH - I'm about half way through your book - awesome! You have really hit a sweet spot for guys like me (ie guys that read this board). Excellent examples, great info, well written, etc. This will occupy a spot next to my favorite books in my gun library.
Tom, I will be at the Shooting Sportman booth Thursday through Saterday with a bunch of new books. It should be easy to find. I'm looking forward to meeting each of you that can make the event.
And thanks to CParker for the thoughtful words.
BTW, Here's a pic of my latest finished project,a Garbi 20 ga. two barrel set.
Best, Steve
