This is a 28 gauge Bernardelli Roma 3. Barrels are just shy of 27 inches and it is choked IM and IC. It weighs 6Lbs 1 Oz. I got it simply because its not something you see everyday and a 28 gauge sxs is cool. Not nearly as fancy as a lot of guns on here but it is in great shape and I just like it.

As good reasons as any! Are you a grouse hunter? Or a trapshooter? Trap with a 28-gauge is a hoot. And the more-open barrel will do well for casual Skeet, if you can coerce the puller to feed you only singles.

I'm not a hunter so clay will be the prey. Ive never shot a 28 gauge before so I'm looking forward to my first outing with it.

If you're married don't let your wife shoot it. My favorite woodcock gun, a 28 bore Ugartechea BLNE, has now been mostly claimed by my wife. Maybe she'll let me take it woodcock hunting this season; at least that's my hope.

It'll be like shooting a somewhat lively spring-piston pellet rifle. And when you blow one of those orange things up while standing next to some bloke with a 34-inch piece of 12-gauge Perazzi light flak, your face will break. 3/4-ounce number 8s.

They're good guns for the money, in general. However, the quality seemed to slip some in the later imports.

When Pino Benetti replaced Ciso Bernardelli who i dealt with I know the quality control went down hill. That’s why I stopped importing them
