I need a recommendation on a gunsmith to repair a small crack in the wrist, behind the tang, of a 28ga Caesar Guerini? I have a friend who is a student, and former Marine, at Montana State that just asked me about it. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Did he buy it new?

If so it might well be worth his while taking it up with the retailer or importer as it is disappointing that a good quality 28 bore of recent manufacture manages to crack at the tang.
