Hoping to find a source for data on when an Alex Martin 12ga BLE was made. This one has a four digit serial number, and the top rib has Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Stirling as maker address information.
Thank you.

The Alex Martin name was used by the John Dickson outfit fairly recently on some Italian made o/u guns I believe that operation went belly up and the Dickson name belongs to A N Other in the trade .perhaps they have records if you can find them.

When I queried them on a pair of 1920’s Alex Martins they had a little data but not much.

I’m unclear on who to contact to ask.

OK. Thanks. I took an earlier post of “A N OTHER” as being reference to a company people would know, except I didn’t.

Before you pay you may want to ask how much data they have, it may be costly to find out a date, gauge, and barrel length only.
