I just purchased a later model (no cocking indicators), snap on forend, 20ga NID field that needs checkering. Can someone tell me the checkering LPI?

Hello Bill, I have one of about that era and will dig it out in the next day or so and be back to you.

My late grade1 has 18 lip and is not checkered to a sharp diamond--e.g. slightly flat it the top.

63 YRS old and this is my first NID. Tons of Flues guns over the years. Still have 3 but I'm on to Ithaca's that I don't have to be concerned about shooting modern ammo in.

Spent the day jumping out of planes. What a rush. (my other hobby).

My late model 16ga NID Field Grade is just like Walt's, 18lpi with very small flat tops.
