Could someone provide a link where I can get a tool to compress a shotgun leaf spring?
Thanks
A sidelock leaf spring or a boxlock leaf spring? They require different tools.
Here’s one similar to what I use for leaf springs on bar action side locks:

SKB, I'd be interested in what you use for boxlock spings. Thanks, Bill
I can post a pic when I return from hunting. It is a Tool I made in Gunsmithing school copied from the Ithaca SKB manual. Flat stock with an angle cut in it to capture the hammer.
I have one that looks very similar to the one Joe provided a link to. It works very well for sidelocks. I think I remember reading in some very old very old writings that it was at one time called a spring cramp (with a "r"). Can anyone confirm that? I probably read that in one volume of the JOURNAL OF HISTORICAL ARMSMAKING TECHNONOGY.
I'd like to see that tool too, Steve.

A box lock spring tool can be made out of wood mine is aluminum
Ouch! Quite the price difference in the Track vs Dyson versions.
Small vice grip pliers can be used in a pinch. No pun intended
