Barrels are chrome lined. Any recommendations?

Mark Beasland has a nice hone. Don't know if he is taking on any more work at this time.

Would spreader loads work to avoid cutting away the chrome lining?

Call this number today and talk with Dean Harris, in OK. He's a very knowledgeable barrel man, and an easy to talk to straight shooter. I wouldn't question anything he has to say about shotgun barrels and chokes.

Most of us "gun nuts" have a mistaken idea that chromed bores is somewhat akin to chrome plating on a car bumper, that can begin to peel off if messed with. It's not. It's entirely different. I believe it was either Dean or Dewey V. that explained this to me a couple years ago.

Best wishes, SRH

I'm going to talk with Mike, he's done barrels for me before. Just didn't know if the lining would be an issue.

I'm also going to call Skeets.
