Searched and failed. There was a thread last year on filling and hiding a screw hole complete with pictures. Can anybody help with a link. Thanks.

I did but another forum member posted a more recent thread. I'm not sure mine still has pictures do to photobucket changes. I looked but cannot find the pictures I took.

You need a nice clean hole free of threads on the surface. Make a tight fitting screw, thread in with red locktight and peen in place like a rivet. Gently dress down being careful not to damage the surface around the screw.

Note where SKB said " free of threads on the surface", a way to achieve is to counter bore or drill the existing hole slightly, to remove the thread near the surface. This is to prevent a "knife edge" defect where the thread would otherwise come to the surface..
