Nice old Parker- and good description thereof- but I wonder- why are the ejectors not functioning??
you would think they would see to that before placing a high ticket item at auction.
That old gun is subject to be a bundle of trouble, not saying it is. Very old hammerless. Lots of wear and tear. But it is an A-1 Special with 32" barrels. Desirable in some ways, undesirable in others. A hard one to value.

137720 is the last of five guns shown in the Parker Bros. records as "Whit1". See pages 359 to 362 of The Parker Story. On the watertable they are stamped with a "1" above the serial number and an "A" below.
I visited Amoskeag yesterday to examine Parker 137720. If you've always wanted to own a Parker A1S this is your chance to get one at a sane price - provided all bidders have personally examined it or have had their agent examine it.
