European Butt Plates - 09/22/20 08:50 PM
Does anyone know where I can find a buttplate for my Merkel Model 8 (I'm sure any Merkel or "Suhl" buttplate would work)? I recently purchased a Merkel and Husqvarna buttplate from NC Ordnance and they were both too small for any of my guns. I'm not really interested in sanding/cutting the stock to fit the plate, I'd rather fit the plate to the wood. I must have tried the Husqvarna "rifle" plate on 7 rifles and it was too small for any of them. I'm not sure what the deal is with that...
