I am helping with the estate of a deceased friend.
Can anyone help with perhaps the model of this Charles Lancaster 12ga SXS Ejectors, and an "APPROX" value.
Is it a $1000.00 or less gun?
$1500.00 gun?
More? As far as English guns go, is this a so so , good or real good gun?
Sorry this gun will not be offered for sale at this time.
Thank you very much for any assistance.
Dale

Webley screw grip, excellent quality, working gun. Definitively not 15k more like a 4k gun if everything is in good shape, good barrels, in proof etc. Plain sidelocks are kind of hard to sell.

From those photos, condition looks pretty good.

Charles Lancaster trade sourced SLE. Low grade, good quality.

Rib should be marked “Charles Lancaster’s W&R Plain Hammerless Ejector”

I’d say $1500 to $2200 would be fair.

These guns were no frills, good quality, good bang for your buck kinda things. Sometimes referred to as “Colonial” grades. I’ve even seen some marked with a crown on the lock plates. A very basic, good quality gun that passed on the extra finishing and embellishments and the price reflected that.
