Gents, have any of you held or shot a Greener Blue Rock pigeon gun? Looks like they were made in the 1950's and 60's, it's a high rib version of their Empire boxlock. I saw one in Holt's upcoming catalog, and was curious about their quality. I'm guessing a mid grade, but then again there are mid grades and then there are nice mid grades!

It's not much to go on but I have looked at one. It was a high condition gun at the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, MD about 10 years ago. It looked nice and I don't think they ever made any junk. But I tend to like Greener guns.

There is one in a local gunshop that seems to be in very good condition. I have looked at it a couple of times. This one only has 28" barrels. Not sure if it would have come that way.

The last one made was finished by Webley around 1970 and went to Australia .

There was one of these at the spring Calgary gun show. It was nicely made but certainly not in the class of a "best gun".
