The last set of Damacus barrels I had done was by Oscar Gaddy. Also, one of the last he did. Did anyone tutelage under him to learn his process? Who would that be. I need another set done and he was the master.
Dale Edmonds of Kansas City was one; but he has retired. Perhaps he can tell you of someone. Sorry; I don't seem to have his phone number. If you reach him; he is an extremely nice guy.
Oscar was a good friend and I have vague memories of discussing it with him. I believe he published articles on his methods. The only thing that sticks out in my memory was his use of Log Wood dye as a final coloring agent.

It must be in archives. Seems he was explicit in explaining his practises.
