As my copy in packed away at the moment, I'm posting in the hopes that someone with the Parker Serialization Book can answer a question for Bill McPhail on a Parker 10-bore Hammer Gun #79466. Bill says the gun is a lower grade in great condition; but can anyone provide a Grad ID, original barrel length, and any other information that may have been recorded for this gun. Thanks in advance. I had to look twice to make sure of the barrel length. Surprising!

Many thanks, and although Bill had advised me this subject 10-bore had 26" barrels; I purposely didn't post that information pending results of your specifications check, but a Parker 10-bore from that era with 26" tubes has got to be very, very uncommon. I haven't seen the gun personally yet, but Bill says she remains in great condition; and that he'll be showing-off the piece to the Parker boys next month at the Southern.

This gun has a semi-pistol grip-but with condition of the gun I
have no doubt it is original.
Checkered and Parker rubber butt plate
Bought it for the condition and short BBLS
Mint BBLS in and out. Nearly all case color on BBL flats and
forearm inside metal. Screws unturned. Fair amount of case
on locks, hammers and frames. No rust or oxidation at all.
checkering perfect, Wood finish between grip and butt has
been "Cleaned" -finish could be fixed with a little light stain
Untouched except stock cleaning

Why do you insist to try and instigate fights with others that have nothing to do with this thread??? Most times you are simply your own worst enemy.

Anyway... a 26" barreled 10g is considdered an "upland ten". Usually these guns were built on 2 frames. And most weight in around 8 lbs. the era this gun was built in, the 10g was still in heavy use in many forms of shooting.

Brian, you are making the common mistake of thinking that I actually care that you don't seem to like me or my posts which expose fakers, frauds, liars, and anti-2nd Amendment trolls.

You can add hypocrites to that list, since I've noticed that you don't get all worked up about off-topic posts from people like Jagermeister, who doesn't even own any double guns.

And lastly, do you know how many 10 gauge guns were built by Parker with 26" barrels? I suppose I could go page by page through my Parker Serialization book, and count them. But that would be even more tedious than sorting through all of the inconsistencies and lies in Jagermeister's past posts. That's why I have began saving his obvious B.S. in a file so that I can reference and quote them much more easily. Please don't get pissed at me for taking the time to answer your question.
