Has anyone heard of this guy or know of the quality of his work?
I haven't had personal experience, but I have a friend who swears by him. If you look on Steve Barnett's website, there is a Custom Ithaca "Superlative Grade" (20 bore I think) that is an example of his work. I've seen it in the flesh, and it's magnificent.

I know Gunter and he has done work for me. He is a first rate gun maker. He has worked for Galazan and Ithaca Classic Doubles.
I would trust him with any of my guns and know that work would be done right the first time and completed when promised....a rarity.
Gunter is a stand up guy who really knows his stuff. His work is exceptional.
