On a 1930's 21 were barrels always EXACTLY 26" if that's how it was ordered? I am looking at one that's 1/8" short. Muzzles look correct, barrels touch, with square slight angle is seen on each side. Everything matches and looks correct, but not sure about 25 7/8" barrels. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Can't answer your question with any authority, but my 1938 gun is 26" on the dot.

I have a 28" mod. 21 it measures maybe a 1/32" short, tops.

I put this gun in the early 30's. Ser#14xx. Cylinder & Mod. Double triggers.
I deducted that since '33 was the first year for cylinder choke & last year of double triggers. It is '33.

Am I on track?
