Hi i owne a inherrit a shotgun and i cant find out what make it is all that is standing on the gun is " made by chase osborne& sons for gf perrins johannesburg " can somebody help me whith more info on this shotgun like whats the name and when it was made

I think it should be either Charles or Chas Osborne as the maker. I can't remember if he was a London or Birmingham maker.
One will probably have to go by the proof marks to get a time period for when it was made.
