Among my papers I have found a Proof Certificate for the following:
Arrieta Gun #330489
12 gauge 2 3/4" chambers
Dated 14th of June 2002
If it's yours, send me your address and I'll put it in the mail.
Are you sure you've got those numbers right? Arrieta serial numbers from that time period (2002) should be hyphenized and read something like: 57-03-XXX-02
It does have those style numbers. Seemed too long for a serial so I used another number shown. Try this:
57-03-182-01
Thanks for the correction.
Just out of curiosity, Hammergun: What is the proof pressure listed on the certificate? I'm trying to pin down at what point CIP countries changed from the old lead crusher (LUP) pressure readings to the modern piezo-electronic (psi) pressure readings. I know for a fact (courtesy of the Birmingham Proofhouse) that the Brits were still using lead crushers in late 2001.
Thanks, Hammergun. That's a transducer measurement. So by then in Spain, if not in all the CIP countries, they'd switched from crushers to transducers to measure pressure.
