Anyone use the BR ball hones and find them useful?

I have all 3 grits for 16ga and the coarse one barely makes a difference after a good 15 minutes...putting some good flat spots on the balls though:(

Any tips?

Thanks,
Mark

Have wondered the same thing.

Getting a little better progress with a "soaked" head but with not much oil running anywhere.....interweb sez use lots of oil...label on oil sez use "sparingly"...that seems to work better.

Damn directions:)

Hopefully they have recommended the correct oil, as the wrong one can hasten the demise of the balls. If the coarse is not doing much, you have a pretty rough/pitted bore. Try a honing stone set up if you want to spare your polishing balls...then go through the set of polishing balls to actually polish, not cut out roughness. The feeling you get pushing a bore brush will be impressively improved. Steve

What, wait! You said forcing cone polishing...the angle can throw you off in seeing the polish or lack thereof. You may need to proceed to the finer ball polishing.
