My neighbor has a vintage Ithaca 16ga. S/N 263396. 28" steel bbls. 1915 by the SN list I have. Unfortunately someone blued it. I was wanting to post pics so someone could tell us what grade it is and such but I don't see how here. It seems like a grade 1 compared to my 1919 grade 1-1/2 damascus Flues. I'm told that Walt Snyder? would be the best source of info on the gun.

welcome. This is the Ithaca info place. Walt does indeed hang his hate here, and some of us other folks try to help out when we can.

If you can give a full description, along with all the little features, we can figure out what you have.

Sn is right for a 1915 Flues. If the gun has steel barrels, its a Grade 1 Special. Grade 1 would have had twist barrels.
