Do I have my wife trained or what?

This morning she was making pancakes, and I made the helpful, pre-emptive suggestion that she not burn the pancakes. She told me "Don't you worry, it has a perfect Damascus pattern."

Maybe Drew can pop in here and tell us which type Damascus it is.

I am thinking cast iron crolle.

The French call it Crêpes crolle', the Italians Crespelle, or Cheela crolle in India (likely the first to develope "Punjab Pattern Welded Pooda") Also called Ferlacher Pfannkuchen

I still think it's a variant of the legendary "Jesus in a Pringle" pattern

You might want to ask her if she uses tincture of mercuric chloride in her browning recipe.

Looks like "one-iron skillet" pattern to me.
