Another one at a antique house, not worth a phone bid for me but maybe some one here wants to roll the dice or is close enough.
You have to put "gun" in the search to right to see the poor pictures and descrption.

I would go the price estimate on the Smith and Colt but I bet they do better.

Why would you sign every post with "Impeach Obama"? The newly elected President of our country has done nothing to justify such. I find it highly offensive, but you have a right to your opinion and apparently to post it here however much it makes you appear a jackass, jerk, dingle berry or bafoon. (PS-Thanks to whoever it was that suggested I get the thesaurus out)
Its one of those you have to go to,some you can chance a phone bid but,as with most "non gun" auction house's,they really have no clue.
The stock on the Colt may be cracked and the Smith buttstock does not match the forend.Looks like it has some CC left on it thou.

(homer-your cowardly name calling and illiterate rant from the safty of your computer shows quite a bit about the typical liberal/socialist mindset. It is fun to watch the "hope and change" folks demise becoming more apparent with each day (Rev Wright-Van Jones-ACORN-Obama care)thou !)
Now that Michael Jackson is dead, Obama is the Greatest Human What Ever Lived.

I agree with homer. Poor Obama has done nothing but run up more debt than all his predessors combined. Why wouldn't we want to allow him the chance to finish off the U.S.? I can certainly ignore that he has not provided proof of citizenship or education records so long as France likes us. And after the coolest summer in a hundred years, why wouldn't I support Cap and Trade which will reduce my kids' standard of living. Why, under Obama, I could even show my stupidity by criticizing people while mis-spelling "buffoon" and forgetting to hyphenate "dingle berry". You go homer... we need more like you!

Interesting, went to a large gun auction in Va on Saturday. Over 200 guns sold and all carried out the door immediately (except the hand guns). As one fellow walked out carrying 5, he commented "I'll won't be able to buy these guns in a couple of years, Obama will stop all of these auctions". Now, this wasn't a Bubba, this was a highly respected gun collector in the area. No doubt he bought a few to flip, but most were going to be added to his personal collection I'm sure. Anyway, no comment other then this is what I witnessed.
Two things you'll always find in the jack-ass' stall are blinders and a feed-bag.
Tut, shoot me an email and let me know how you did at the auction. Murphy
Wow, that estimator sure went low on the LC Smith Crown Grade ($1200-$1800). Although they said "mirror bores", there must be something about the gun to bring the estimate that low. A 3E grade in typical condition for its age went for $2000 here not long ago. A crown grade would have gone for at least $3000.

I'm with you on this one. I'm sick of those that place blame on the President for everything, offer no suggestions for improvement, take no blame for the previous 8 years and feel the only way to get their point across is to be loud, rude and inconsiderate. You would think the world was perfect before and has now gone to hell in a hand basket in a few months. I think not.

And yes, I am a card carrying Republican that has begun to move to the center because of the actions, attitudes and behavior of some conservatives that care only about themselves. Get over it. You will have another chance in 37 months. Grow up and start acting like an adult.
another clown Tom C to add to the list of koolaid drinkers who sell out fellow gun owners.

your a card carrying Rep yea sure.A SEIU carrying one maybe,or a trial lawyer (in the Dems pocket)but no Republican thats for sure !

the rats are jumping from the sinking ship and this clown Tom wants a better seat on the deck !

A friend of mine inspected this L C Smith CROWN GRADE today and he reported back to me that: #1 The single HUNTER ONE TRIGGER does not appear to be there, in its place is what APPEARS to be a MILLER TRIGGER. #2 One of the barrels has some pitting. #3 This LCS is well used. It has been shot a great many times in its life. #4 The butt stock has been butchered. It will take a lot of money and time to restore this CROWN GRADE. Jent jentpmitchell@msn.com

PM sent Bill. Regards Tut
The wood on that gun sure is butt ugly....pad, fat beavertail and raised rib on a side by side, Monte Carlo to boot...wow, makes it look KMarty.....very ghetto indeed.......kind of like Marlins last L.C. attempt in 1969-1971.....Like WHITEWALL TIRES on a Ferrari.......
This L C Smith CROWN GRADE, 12 ga, 32 inch barrels, with a vent rib and some kind of unusual single trigger (not a HOT) sold tonight at auction for $4914.00. The bid price when the hammer dropped was $4200 plus a 17% buyers premium !!! The buyer may have had to pay some sales tax on top of that, I am not sure ???

It must not have been all that ugly. Jent

Yeah, that's a terrible looking Crown. I wonder if the Parker looked that bad?

Not taking the bait, you know good and well what it means.
BTW this "discussion" was about the auction until Tom C and "homer" took it down this path.

Dave:
Just getting back into the swing of things after some personal matters. Were there any other notable sales in this auction?
Jim
Hi Jim,
pleased your back.Nothing more with this one but I have a couple others up my sleeve to go through.Lots of guns floating around for sale in places that you would not expect.

my opinion is impeach obama.
Dave K:

I think you misunderstand what I originally meant. It's not your message I disagree with. It's the way you present it. You are obviously making a political statement. However, the way you deliver your message leads me and others to believe that you can not offer an opinion without being aggressive, degrading or belittling. When that happens, those that you are trying to convert turn you off and your method of delivery results in just the opposite of what you are trying to do. So it's not the message that many conservatives are trying to deliver, it's the way they deliver it. Take a look at the quotes you presented and compare them with your comments.
Tom C,
I am not the one that brought politics into this thread, that was "homer" and you with your "last eight years" comment.
The community organizer in chief that you, as a "card carrying Republican"-your words, support does deliver a message well.Unfortunatly for all of us his inexperience, far left socialism and the communists/radicals that he has surrounded himself and his administration with are showing that the real B Hussein is the most corrupt/incompetent/dangerous president this country has ever had !

Point proven.
that you are the one who wants to continue to take a thread about a gun auction in this direction? yes point proven!
BTW, you should note that I did not hijack "your" threads !
Tell me Tom, what excatly have you and that other bozo added to this thread?
Bill: I just checked with the Pook Auction House & was told that the Parker BH went for $6,000 + 17 1/2% BP. Perhaps a good buy!

Best Regards, George
