I talked to Jim's wife today and she said that Jim is still in the hospital. Still in a serious condition. She Said that he still had a lot of tubes in him. She didn't act like this was out of the normal for Jim's condition, but I'm sure it will be a long road back for him.
My prayers are with him and his family!
Thanks for the update, and please keep us informed.
May God Bless and Heal Jim! Bobby
God Bless the old fart.Jim is a tuff ole bird and I know he has the will go get back to normal.
God bless and get well Jim.
Brian
Warm wishes for you, Jim.
Thanks for the update IM. We certainly hope & pray for the best for him. Keep us up-dated as needed.
Thanks for keeping us posted on Jim's recovery. My prayers are for both Jim and his wife. As anyone who has endured major health problems can agree, the love of a good woman can be the best medicine. Bless you both Jim and Ann.

Yes, thanks for the update, improved modified. We are praying for you Jim and hope to see you back real soon. God Bless.
Hoping for the best for Jim. But I must've missed something somewhere along the line. What put him in the hospital?
Scratch the above question. Backed up a page and found Jim's post. Certainly hope the surgery takes care of his problem!
Thanks for the update, all the best to him, and we look forward to reading from him again soon.
Thanks for the update. Prayers will continue for Jim and his Missus.
C'mon Jim!
We need a lighthearted JL essay to lift the spirits around here. Maybe Mark O'Keefe has a new amazing review of a double trigger gun.
Get better Jim, we're thinking of you.
Brent
Vamos Jaime!
We are all waiting for you to get back!
JC
I saw the tuff old coot for just a minute on my brief trip back to Utah.
Thoughts winging your way ya old blackpowder shooter.
Any news on Jim yet? It would be good to know he is off the critical list.
Jim hope you are recovering and that the Op. was a total success.Life could be worse. I could be in the bed next to you? Come think off it that may be a good idea, everyone seems to want to get up and go after five minutes in my company.Best wishes Jim I hope you are home very soon, all you guys are in my thoughts.I am fortunate, in so much as I know no bad people.
Lynn and I wish you a quick and complete recovery. Stay tough Jim.

Hang in there Jim, we need those ol ASA guy's
Here's hoping for the best! Thoughts and prayers.
IM, how about another report on JL's status? Certainly hope that he is doing better this week, but also know its not an overnight kinda deal.
In some ways I kinda think of Jim being similar to a friend of mine that was once EVICTED from a hospital ... soon as they got him out of the ICU.
We have traded a few PM's, but mostly emails as that's what he likes as they are much easier for him to read. Both share a directness of expression that is either refreshing or ...., but never of the milque toast or waffle variety.
God speed Jim, we're counting on resiluence[sp?] and your return.
Jim has taken the time to help me with many questions about blackpowder. sent me articles etc.
Here's to his recovery. God Bless
Jerry
Jim's out of the hospital and has a hard time talking. He says that he was doing better three days ago than today. The cancer is gone, but it's going to be a long recovery.
IM, thanks for the update.
JC
Hi all,
IM said it very well. I escaped Monday but am very weak. Dr. says they got it all and that my voice should come back. I'm trying to learn to enjoy eating again and am still short of breath but we think it will be fine an a couple months. Thank you all for the many kind thoughts.
Love

Good to hear that you are home and in good hands. I couldn't express it any better than what Doug said.
Good to see you back, Jim! Too weak to catch the nurses, so they sent you home? Seriously, sounds like a great prognosis. Hang in there!
Great news Jim, here's to a solid recovery and seeing more of your charm here soon, it's been missed.
Good news. As long as you can say "Pull!", you'll be fine...
Good to see you tickin over, Jim.

GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK. JUST TAKE YOUR TIME HEALING. DON'T PUSH IT AND END UP BACK IN THE HOSP. WE NEED YOU HERE. FRANK
Just wondering how you were feeling, Jim. And hoping you holidays were nice.
Glad it went well, Jim, and good to have you back. Will keep praying for you.
Sam
That's the best news on the board this year, Jim. It may be a conceit to say so but I thought you were of a nature to spring back. The main thing now---I'm a survivor, too---is not to become frustrated by the things you can't do. It takes time. All the best, King
Jim, Be thankful you didn't catch one of those nurses, I did and she's been a pest for the last 20 years. But, she's a keeper. Glad your back and on the mend, take your time on recovery, do as they say and soon it will be hunting season again. Randy
Welcome back Jim, Best wishes for a complete recovery.
