“With the exception of choke tubes, both guns appear to be the same”.

This is your big hint. The peddler HAS a Citori, and is trying to find a mark, er, customer, to give him Superposed money for it.

The same guy assured us in an ad right here that the sloppy glue job on a Japanese gun was actually “Better than new”.

Priced like he believed it, too.

Watch out.

Best,
Ted

You are thinking of the Winchester model 23. This was a Japanese made guns in the 80’s that looked similar to the 21. The Winchester model 24 looks nothing like the the model 21. The model 24 was a lower budget affair and handles pretty clunky.

You're not real onto this satire/sarcasm thing are you, Dave?

I know, but I like the popping sound quip. Ed pulls his head out, and I can hear it all the way up here.

Same difference between a mustang Boss and a Mustang II with a four cylinder engine. If you don’t know the difference you need to find another hobby or vocation.

Where did Ed "learn" that all Superposeds were custom made guns? For more than 50 years, the Superposed was an off the shelf gun with added features available at extra cost. These added features were probably actually ordered for less than 1 percent of guns sold. OH, MY, I'm turning into an Ed.
