baretta is makin an auto loader an forochi is makin the ammo in one oz loads...

any experience with this combo?

have a 28 ga custom made ithaca nid repro, with heavy barrels...

thinkin bout havin the barrels machined for tubes and the chambers opened to three inch...

your thoughts?

My opinion is that we try to explain too much. The reason why is ........ because we can. My point in my earlier post could be better stated by condensing it, maybe. Why shoot ANY particular gauge/payload when the argument can be made that "there is something already out there than can do it better"?

Why does anyone NEED more than one shotgun? A twelve gauge can, and will, do it all. We do these things just because we WANT to, and some of us are constant "fiddlers", trying to improve a situation.

I think one oz is too much for 28 ga and there're bigger gauges for it as The Fox said.
