Interesting to see that iconic name in best doubleguns W.W, Greener is for sale .

Hopefully a vibrant , well financed, ambitious buyer will be found .
I certainly hope it will be saved from oblivion , if only to remind me of wonderful days spent with David Dryhurst & Richard Tandy , but more to keep alive my memories of Greener historian and enthusiast Mike Newland,

Oh it can be done, no doubt. Whoever winds up with it needs to have deep pockets and lots of time and patience, not to mention knowledge and capabilities. My point was , there’s no clamor in the hinterlands for new Greener shotguns and rifles.

Greener might have a chance if Beretta buys it.

I have spoken to a few Brits and they showed no interest at all. Reasoning that due to Covid & lockdown the economy is very poor at the minute and may take years to recover. They also asked 'what are you buying,, any orders, no factory , no machines , no employees, what price?' Lots of questions and lots of caution.
