With some regret am selling my Dale Goens Mauser that has been with me for about 45 years. In excellent condition with all the bells and whistles and gorgeous French walnut. Includes letters from Mr. Goens.

That certainly is a nice example of Dale's work. Curious what Mauser action did you start with and can you comment on the mods you did to the action?

I am not the original owner of the rifle, and know very little about the varieties of Mauser actions. All I can say is what is obvious: checkered bolt knob, floor plate release inside the trigger guard, Canjar trigger, polishing, and reblueing. Creighton Audette did his usual careful job of lapping in the locking lugs when installing the 7mm Hart barrel. The folks at NECGS might be able to supply more precise details about the action.
