I have heard all kinds of accuracy claims regarding the Browning Continental 30-06. what weight were they regulated for? 165, 180? durability? accuracy at 100 yards and beyond? all input appreciated

I looked over 9,3/20ga set. Nice handling piece though I heard or read that rifle barrels were not well regulated or not regulated to specific load. Might want to ask at NitroExpress those guys are into stuff like that.

I have one and it will stack the bullets like the barrels at 100 yards.Lite little sucker to carry and with the 20 gauge barrels is lite as a feather.I do not like the iron sights they seem cheap but I put a scope on mine and the only problem I had with that was I couldn't put the big optics for late afternoon shooting.
but yes accurate hunting gun

I have one of the Continental sets and the 30-06 barrels are as accurate (2" at 100yds.) as I could ever expect. I use 165gr Nosler Solid Base bullets but it took about 5 different loadings to find the one that regulated correctly. I also have a .270 Browning "Superposed" double rifle that is scoped. That one is a 3" rifle so far. Haven't found the magic load yet.
